Who is responsible for your information
NI Leak Detection is part of the PCLA group and is operated by Property Claims Loss Assessors Limited, company NI647225. This company is the controller of the personal information you give us for your NI Leak Detection enquiry.

Information you give us
Our callback form asks for your name and telephone number, with optional fields for the property postcode and a short description of the problem. Your name and telephone number are needed so we can respond to your callback request.
We also receive the information you choose to give us by telephone or email. Please only provide information relevant to your enquiry.
How we use it
Your callback request is emailed to info@nileakdetection.co.uk . The colleague who answers our telephone receives the request and calls you about your enquiry. We use your information only in connection with the service provided, including responding to your enquiry and arranging a requested introduction.
We do not sell your enquiry information or use it for cold outreach or prospecting.
Contractor introductions and PCLA callbacks
We ask for your consent before passing your details to an independent contractor. We only share information relevant to the service with those directly involved with you.
A callback from a PCLA loss assessor is a separate service that you request. Making a leak-detection enquiry does not automatically request a claims callback. Information about PCLA’s website and services is available in its separate privacy policy: PCLA privacy policy
How long we keep information
We retain customer data for 12 months after your enquiry or service closes.
Website and email providers
The callback form uses Webstudio to deliver your request to our email inbox. We use Google Workspace to receive, store and manage these emails. Website and email providers process information to operate these services. This is distinct from introducing you to a contractor or arranging a claims callback.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances and the lawful basis for processing, you can ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your information. Contact us using the details above to make a request. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew consent.
Your right to object
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. We will consider your request in accordance with data protection law.
You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Optional website measurement
With your consent, we use Google Analytics and Google Ads through Google Tag Manager to measure visits and enquiries and understand advertising performance. This may include pages visited, referring campaigns and browser or device information. Optional measurement tags load only after acceptance. You can reject them and still call us or request a callback.
Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice or withdraw consent. Your browser remembers your choice for up to 180 days. Withdrawal stops optional measurement; it does not undo earlier processing carried out with consent. You can also remove cookies and site data using your browser settings.
Our callback-success measurement event does not contain your name, telephone number, postcode or description of the problem. We also use a short-lived browser-session marker to show the callback confirmation after a successful PPC request. This contains a timestamp rather than your enquiry details and is removed when the confirmation page reads it.
Information stored in your browser
We use local storage named ni_measurement_consent to remember your optional-cookie choice for up to 180 days. This is a browser preference record, not an enquiry record. We ask again when that choice expires.
The session-storage item ni_ppc_receipt holds a callback-success timestamp. The confirmation page consumes it and only recognises a timestamp less than 15 minutes old. If you do not visit that page, the item remains for the browser session.
Changes to this notice
We may revise this notice when our website or use of information changes. The date above identifies the latest version.
